Aimee Plumb

By taking part in Walk for Rescue I have raised enough for a care package for:

1 dog

A care package includes all the essentials a dog needs, including a comfy bed to sleep in and a bowl for their favourite food, creating a welcoming space when they arrive at Battersea.

Please help me support Battersea

I’m taking part in Walk for Rescue, Battersea's dog walking challenge. Throughout the month of October, I will be covering either 30km, 60km or 90km with my dog by my side.

Battersea will always be there for every dog and cat. Battersea takes dogs and cats in, gives them the expert care they need and finds them new homes that are just right for them. They help pet owners make informed choices, provide training advice, and campaign for changes in the law. And they help other rescue centres and charities at home and abroad because they want to be here for every dog and cat, wherever they are, for as long as they need Battersea.

Thank you so much for your support.

My Updates

Completed

Tuesday 15th Oct
I am so pleased to announce I have already reached my 30km throughout October! I have been walking with Pablo most days to be able to do this. I will keep walking and doing some little updates but not everyday.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated

Why am I doing this?

Wednesday 2nd Oct
As many of you know I recently rescued my dog Pablo and before him I had our rescue dog Stan. Both dogs being rescues are completely different! Stan was the most amazing dog to be around for our family but he hated other dogs and people. Whereas Pablo is super friendly to everyone.

Stan and Pablo are from two different rescues so to be able to support rescue dogs I chose Battersea. Battersea doesn’t only rescue dogs but they also rescue cats as well, they work hard to ensure that any dog that enters their centre gets the most love and care they may need. Battersea also have a hydrotherapy centre inside their rescue centre to help those that need that extra therapy. As a hydrotherapist myself I also wanted to help support them.
