I’m taking part in Walk for Rescue, Battersea's dog walking challenge. Throughout the month of October, I will be covering either 30km, 60km or 90km with my dog by my side.
Battersea will always be there for every dog and cat. Battersea takes dogs and cats in, gives them the expert care they need and finds them new homes that are just right for them. They help pet owners make informed choices, provide training advice, and campaign for changes in the law. And they help other rescue centres and charities at home and abroad because they want to be here for every dog and cat, wherever they are, for as long as they need Battersea.

Thursday 19th SepTommy and I will be walking 60km in October for Battersea!
The reason I have chosen to take part in this challenge is not only for the personal challenge, but also because it supports every rescue animal finding a home and gaining a new family.
For those that don’t know, Murph (our late dog) and Tommy (the doggo we have now) were / are rescue dogs.
Knowing that we gave them both a second chance at life is something that I wish for every dog/animal that needs a new home to experience.
Any animal rehoming charity holds a special place in my heart and to be able to support them is something I will always be grateful to be part of!
So please, if you could donate any spare change, that would be amazing, it will allow for the animals to be given their second chance to meet their best friends and forever homes and for Battersea to be able to continue providing the amazing service they do!
