Walk for Rescue This October!
How far would you go for dogs and cats? This October, we're challenging you to take on Walk for Rescue – our free virtual walking challenge. Choose from one of our 3 distance goals, lace up your trainers, and show your love for rescue animals everywhere. Our distance targets represent the number of days that 3 dogs stayed with us before finding their new home. Will you walk 36km for Enzo, 66km for Doris, or 99km for Nando?
Sign up for free today, and once you receive your first donation we'll send you a Battersea t-shirt and bandana. Best of all, every step you take and pound you raise will help us go all in for dogs and cats. Wherever they are, whatever they need, and however long they need us.

Walk 36KM for enzo
1 year old Enzo arrived at Battersea after a change in his owner's circumstances. His charming personality shone through but our team noticed that he could sometimes get stressed. They created a care plan to keep Enzo calm and after 36 days in our care, Enzo was ready to go to a loving new home.
Walk 66KM for Doris
10-year-old Doris came to Battersea after her owner could no longer keep her. She had lost her appetite and needed a special hypoallergenic diiet. She also needed surgery for a respiratory condition which is common in flat faced dogs. After 66 days of expert care from our team, Doris went to a new home.
Walk 99KM for nando
Nando was 5 years old when he came to Battersea. We didn't know much about his past but his kind soul was clear to see. Nando was worried by our kennels. So, he was looked after by one of our dedicated foster carers, to give him space and get used to life as a pet. After 99 days with us, Nando found his perfect home.
