By taking part in Walk for Rescue I have raised enough for a care package for:
6 dogs
A care package includes all the essentials a dog needs, including a comfy bed to sleep in and a bowl for their favourite food, creating a welcoming space when they arrive at Battersea.

Please help me support Battersea
I’m taking part in Walk for Rescue, Battersea's dog walking challenge. Throughout the month of October, I will be covering either 36km, 66km or 99km with my dog by my side.
Battersea will always be there for every dog and cat. Battersea takes dogs and cats in, gives them the expert care they need and finds them new homes that are just right for them. They help pet owners make informed choices, provide training advice, and campaign for changes in the law. And they help other rescue centres and charities at home and abroad because they want to be here for every dog and cat, wherever they are, for as long as they need Battersea.
Thank you so much for your support.

🐾 Fozzy’s Dog Walking Challenge – Week Four Update! 🐾
Monday 3rd NovWoof woof, friends! It’s your favourite (and slightly sleepy) Fozzy checking in for Week Four — and what a finish it’s been! 🐶✨
This week included an unexpected trip back to Dr Adam, which wasn’t exactly on my walkies plan… but it did mean I officially smashed my 36km target — in fact, I clocked a whopping 57km in total! 🎉 Not bad for a lad with tiny legs and a cone collection fit for the Tate Modern, if I do say so myself.
Wherever I’ve gone, I’ve made sure to bring a little joy — passers-by can’t help but smile at my happy face and stylish cone. I like to think of myself as part fundraiser, part morale officer. 😄🐾
The big news: I’m now partially cone-free! 🙌 A little more fresh air around the face feels wonderful, though I must admit, the cone and I have been through a lot together. (We might even miss each other… just a bit.)
All that walking, wagging, and healing has left me very tired, so I’ve decided to declare November a month of rest. Expect plenty of naps, snacks, and gentle stretches from the sofa. 😴🐾
Thank you for all the love, sponsorships, and cheerleading — you’ve helped this small pup do big things for his Battersea pals. 💙
Big licks,

🐾 Fozzy’s Dog Walking Challenge – Week Three Update! 🐾
Wednesday 29th OctWoof woof, friends! It’s your favourite cone-wearing wanderer Fozzy, back with another pawsome update! 🐶✨
Big news — I smashed my walking target! 🎉 But don’t you worry, I’m not hanging up my lead just yet. I’ll be keeping those paws moving for all my Battersea bros and sis’s still waiting for their forever homes. 💙
The weather has been kind (finally no rain!), so I managed to sneak in a few extra steps — turns out I walk best when toes are dry. ☀️
On the health front, my toe is healing nicely, but sadly I’ve got a few more eye blisters. So, the cone remains my constant companion… at this point, it’s basically part of my personal brand. 👑
It’s been a quieter week overall — Jen’s mum went home, so I’ve been catching up on some serious napping. Finally, I can sleep properly without her keeping me awake with all that snoring! 😴🐾
Thank you for cheering me on and supporting Battersea — every tail wag, step, and snooze is for them. 💙
Big licks,
Fozzy 🐾

🐾 Fozzy’s Dog Walking Challenge – Week Two Update! 🐾
Monday 20th OctWoof woof, friends! It’s your pal Fozzy, reporting back with another exciting instalment of “The Cone Chronicles.” 🎬
What. A. Week. My social life has really taken off — Jen’s mum came to visit (10/10, lovely human, excellent snack game), and I’ve been one very busy boy! This week I’ve been to three parks, three cafés, one restaurant, one pub, four trains, and two buses. I’m basically a furry travel blogger at this point.
A huge woof of thanks to Uncle Chris, who’s sponsoring me £1 per kilometre! What a legend. Though, for the record, 36km is no small feat when you’ve only got little legs — in Fozzy terms, that’s like a human walking to the moon and back (while wearing a cone and stopping for sniffs).
On the health front, I’ve got some mixed news. The good bit: my eye ulcers are gone! 🎉 The not-so-good bit: I’ve now got eye blisters, some pigmentation, and I managed to hurt my toe. So the cones are staying — but it does keep me dry in the rain.
Despite all that, my tail’s still wagging, and I’m proud to be walking (and occasionally limping) for my fellow Battersea pals who need a second chance like I had. 💙
Until next time — keep your paws clean, your cones polished, and your snacks handy.
Big licks,
Fozzy 🐾

🐾 Fozzy’s Dog Walking Challenge – Week One Update! 🐾

🐾 Fozzy’s Dog Walking Challenge – Week One Update! 🐾
Wednesday 8th OctWoof woof, friends! It’s me, Fozzy – your favourite Battersea boy on a mission to walk for my fellow doggy bros and sis still waiting for their forever homes. 🐶💙
Well… week one is done, and let’s just say it’s been ruff! I’ve been a bit poorly (send snacks, please), and I’m back in my cone of shame — though I prefer to call it my “satellite of style.” It’s not ideal for zoomies, sniffing bushes, or, well… turning corners.
Still, I gave it my best paw! I clocked 5km on Monday, which was quite an achievement if I do say so myself. I did, however, require a small lie-down break halfway round — Jen didn’t seem too keen on the idea, but I reminded her that a true athlete knows when to rest. 💤
Even though it’s been a slow start, I’m so chuffed that so many lovely humans have sponsored me already. Thank you for supporting me and all my pals at Battersea. Every penny helps keep tails wagging and tummies full. 🐾💛
More walks (and hopefully fewer cones) to come next week — stay tuned for updates from your humble hound hero!
Big licks,
Fozzy 🐾
